LG and T-Mobile rolling out Jelly Bean 4.1.2 update for Optimus L9

In April LG rolled out Jelly Bean version of Android to the Optimus L9 handset. But at that time due to some issues such as random reboot, apps crash, quick battery drain etc. LG pulled off the update. Now they have done all of their testing and again Jelly Bean update is rolling out.

Both LG and T-Mobile are pushing Jelly Bean 4.1.2 to Optmius L9 which currently runs on Android 4.0.4. Go to settings> About phone. If you see firmware version "P76920f" then you are running Android 4.1.2. If not, then you can simply click on "Check for Updates" as it is an Over the air or OTA update. This update will be around 350 MB in size.
