Apple's event for new iPads and devices confirmed for 22 October

It's Official. Apple. Yes.  

Apple has sent invites for its upcoming event that will take place on 22 October. It is rumored that it will announce a new iPad mini with Retina display. An upgrade for iPad is also awaiting, and the 5th gen iPad, which is also expected to come into Apple's stable line on the same day, with new 64-bit A7 processor and M7 motion co-processor. A TouchID fingerprint is also expected like that positioned on iPhone 5S. 

Earlier in June when Apple announced OS X Mavericks, they said the public version of this OS will come in October. Apple also announced the latest generation of Mac Pro with cutting edge design and features. Among all of these, a cheaper version of iMac is also rumored to be announced in this event, which ,if goes true, will actually be a correct decision by the company as the current lineup is costly. Macbooks may also see an upgrade with 2nd generation  Macbook Pro  Retina display powered by Intel's latest 4th gen Haswell processors.

iOS 7 caught on running on iPad and iPad mini

Apple has launched iOS 7, the latest version of its mobile operating system in WWDC 2013. It is currently available as a beta build for iPhone developers and beta for iPad will come in few weeks. Stable release is said to be rolling out this fall. 

iGen has spotted images of iOS 7 running on iPad and iPad mini. All of the icons are same, but here we can see a red icon which will be most probably for Photobooth, which isn’t present on the iPhone or iPod touch.

Next Gen iPad mini and iPad March Release rumor

In CES Corning displayed Gorilla Glass 3. Though Apple doesn’t exhibit at CES, its presence still looms large. 

In 2013, Apple is expected to release several gadgets i.e. iPad 5, iPad mini 2, iPhone 5S, iMac with retina display. A numerous rumors and leaks can be found on the found on the web. Here's a statement from both MacRumors and Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White about iPad mini and iPad 5.

Our checks at CES indicate Apple will release the iPad 5 and the second-generation iPad mini this March. The iPad 5 is expected to be lighter and thinner than the iPad 4 that was released in October, while the form factor of the iPad mini should be similar to the first generation iPad mini that debuted in October.

White’s comments line up with a previous report from Macotakara in December, which said Apple would release a fifth-generation iPad in March 2013, which would have a “thinner and lighter” design similar to the iPad Mini.

iPhone 5S/6 is already in rumor.
